The Clergy Correspondence Chess Club have been fielding a team in the Scheming Mind Standard Chess League over the past year. www.schemingmind.com
Our team has comprised David Hulme, Mike Smith, Andrew Yates, Tim Partridge, Bruce Carlin, and David Lowe. We were placed in Division 5A and have acquitted ourselves reasonably well in our first season. Our results are:
Grantham Kings, won 10-0
Sheffield, lost 0-10.
Dreadnoughts E, won 8-2
Harrogate CCC, won 8-2
Star Trek E, lost 4-6
Green Mountain Boys, lost 4-6
SCCA, still in play at 4½-3½
