These rules are those of the International Correspondence Chess Federation as modified by the British Federation for Correspondence Chess. The numbering corresponds to that of the ICCF rules, but BFCC modifications are incorporated within the rules, rather than printed separately. Whilst every attempt has been made to ensure that these are an accurate representation of the BFCC playing rules they are valid only within the Clergy CCC. In the event of a dispute in a game involving other players the official publication must be regarded as definitive.
