Entries are open for two of our most important individual tournaments and I hope you will consider entering. Further details can be obtained from the respective Tournament Directors.
British CC Championship 2004/5
The individual championship of the Federation, open to all members of BFCC and its affiliated clubs who are residents in the British Isles (except the Irish Republic). All play all seeded sections: Championship (for qualified players only), Candidates (winners qualify for next Championship). If there are sufficient entries, there will also be Reserves sections with promotion to the Candidates. Entry fee £10 for all sections (cheques payable to BFCC).
Entries close on 1 September 2004 and play begins 15 October 2004.

Seventh Veterans Championship 2004/5
This tournament is open to full members of the BFCC or one of its member organisations who are residents in the British Isles (except the Irish Republic). Entrants must be 60 years of age or over on 15th October 2004
The Championship shall have one section and there will be Candidates sections as required. There will be relegation between the Championship and Candidates sections, with each section having 9 players where possible.
All games will be eligible for ICCF and BFCC ratings. The prize fund will depend on the size of the entry. The entry fee is £5 payable to the BFCC (one entry only). Entries close on 30th September 2004 and play will begin on 15th October 2004.
