How to Join BFCC

The Federation depends very much for its continued existence on the support of the players who understand and appreciate the importance of its work and subscribe as Vice-Presidents. Without this source of revenue, the BFCC could not possibly undertake a fraction of its work. Vice-Presidents of the BFCC pay an annual subscription of £9 (UK) or £11 (elsewhere) and are entitled to attend and speak (but not vote) at all meetings of the Federation's Executive Committee, normally held four times a year alternately in the London and Midlands areas. For details of how to join, please contact our Secretary.

The usual programme is for London meetings to be held in June and November and the Midlands meetings in February and September. The Agenda is sent at least three weeks in advance of each meeting together with the Minutes of the previous meeting and a comprehensive magazine to keep members fully informed about all correspondence chess activities at national and international level.

Vice-Presidents of the BFCC resident in the UK are entitled to apply for nomination to a Reserve Section of the British Correspondence Chess Championship and to enter the Class Tournaments of the ICCF. Women Vice-Presidents may also enter the British Ladies Correspondence Chess Championship.
